Loan for use agreement movables
One party gives something on loan for use to the other party. Borrowing something is always free of charge, otherwise it is referred to as renting. This loan for use agreement covers an agreed period or an indefinite period. If only because the borrower might argue that it was a gift, it is advisable to lay down that the movables are on loan for use.

How to fill in the agreement
Please fill in the name and address of the lender and the borrower. You must include a description of the movables as well. It is also possible to include photos of the goods, as to avoid discussions about any possible damage when the goods are returned. You should also set a period of notice of termination.
In our loan for use agreement goods it is stated that at the request of the lender, the borrower must take out insurance against damage by fire or theft. Check whether this is necessary. Often damage is covered by third-party insurance (WA-verzekering) and is insured in a maximum amount. Check your own insurance policy and ask the borrower to do the same. This will prevent you from being confronted with an unpleasant surprise.
